		<description>Its interesting that you say that search directories are not proving as effective as they used to be - we&#039;re finding that if providing quality inbound links from quality, relevant directories (i.e. not every directory from every country), that it provides not just good increases in search engine ranking, but more importantly good traffic.

We use a site called Search Directory List at http://www.searchdirectorylist.com - it enables you to filter through about 3000 directories by country, language, niche, and even whether they&#039;re paid, etc. It&#039;s pretty good.

Good article though and yes, I&#039;d recommend your readers look at unpaid directories unless you feel there is going to be a benefit in purchasing a directory listing to your company/organisation
