Well departing from our normal foo & link building tactic posts, I think this post by Andy Beal is worth your attention: Googleâs Click Fraud Rate is Less than 2%
I’m not even going to summarize, because you’ll want to check out the post–it’s quite juicy, with graphs, exclusive interviews with Googlers, Venn diagrams and more!

yesterday, i have 7 clicks in my site but i earn 0.34$ in my one site. i dont know whats the problem or if there is a problem?
I removed all my google PPC ads, except on google itself. It was out of control and low conversions.
Thanks for the information. I did’nt know about ppc fraud. Now I’ll do Intensive research before starting ppc campain, specially on Google. Once again Thanks.
I am not really convinced by the demonstration…
On my company’s website I can track the incoming clicks when the “content network” option of Google Adwords is activated, and I see the majority of the clicks come from fake or “parking” websites…
So maybe, technically speaking, the fraudulous clicks are less than 2% – but in my experience the proportion of “non relevant” clicks is much higher.
So it all depends what you call “fraudulous” in the end….
It all depends on your ROI. If you are cutting it fine and you can’t afford a little bit of random clicking then you should check out other avenues.
Marketing requires constant testing and if you are monitoring your account you should know what’s happening. My clients ROI is way more than the pittance we are spending so we can’t complain at all. Most of my campaigns run in profit, but I can understand how some people lose money.
Nothing is perfect in this world. We are the one’s that can make things look like somewhat close to perfectness.
I do understand that the click fraud rate may or may not be accurate for everyone using that particular service. The best thing that one can do is to eliminate all types of fraud to generate good profits on a personal level.
Thanks for the information.
This never used to be an issue, fortunatly google are stamping down on the issue.

Only 2% now that is a shock and how the hell do they know this anyhow
This is useful, I feel that when promoting with ppc, there are many other site owners clicking your ppc ad, to see what is offered by competition, thus redering ppc a waste of time, I’m tired of spending useless dollars, This is main cause of Low conversions.
